We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in database concepts and administration, with experience in Oracle database administration. They should be able to install, configure, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The role involves implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for optimizing database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.

Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting complex database issues, developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, and ensuring business continuity and minimizing data loss.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.

The following skills are required:

  • Oracle Database Administration: Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • SQL and PL/SQL: Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write efficient and effective database code.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), including configuration, management, and monitoring of database environments.
