As a key member of our biotech team, you will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative therapeutic and diagnostic solutions. This position is crucial in delivering precision-driven answers in genomics and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oligonucleotide Synthesis Expertise: Utilize automated solid-phase synthesis to optimize oligo synthesis, including detritylation-oxidation cycles.
  • Synthesis Scaling and Optimization: Scale synthesis to mmol level while maintaining coupling efficiency above 99%.
  • Oligo Purification and Characterization: Purify using HPLC, PAGE, CE, and characterize using LC-MS, UV-Vis, MS.
  • Lab Instrumentation and Safety Management: Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Cross-Functional Method Development and Quality Control: Drive method development and quality control initiatives across functions.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Degree in Oligonucleotide Synthesis and Analysis: Hold a Ph.D. degree in oligonucleotide synthesis and analysis with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Strong Foundation in Phosphoramidite Chemistry: Possess a strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics.
  • Bonus Requirements: Experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing is a plus.
