Job Title & Purpose

Role Overview">

The EDU Manager will oversee the Software Development resources and activities on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage Software Development resources and activities on assigned projects.">
  • Ensure timely delivery of software baselines according to QCD requirements.">
  • Responsible for SDE-MPU and SDE-DDU activities.">
  • Responsible for managing workload, including sub-contracted part (technical assistance or work-package).">
  • Contribute to sub-contracting strategy in liaison with sourcing.">
  • Evaluate team performance and set objectives.">
  • Define training plan appropriate to team's needs and Alstom strategy.">
  • Network with other sites to share workload, Return on Experience and Technology topics.">
  • Propose investments for HW & SW necessary to ensure deliveries on projects conducted by the site.">
  • Manage domain using regularly updated KPIs related to domain.">
  • Keep informed of QCD of projects team contributes to, propose improvements if necessary.">
  • Initiate and follow-up action plans to solve issues common across projects and/or improve results in projects.">
  • Manage and share RoE of activities with Central TC&IS.">
  • Propose improvements on domain process and tools defined by Central team.">
  • Monitor, Control and consolidate software development work-package.">
  • Organize and lead work package reviews for project team is responsible for, manage risk assessment and mitigation plan, report target to project train control work package owner.">
  • Integrate software modules with various modules within TCMS subsystem like MPU, DDU etc and be in charge of configuration management for TCMS software activities.">
  • Ensure overall performance of executable code loaded on target for project team is leading.">
  • Initiate and follow-up with action plans to solve issues and/or improve results in projects.">
  • Establish and share Return on Experience of activities with Domain Leader and propose improvements on software development process and tools defined by Domain Leader.">
  • Integrate software modules with various modules within TCMS subsystem like DDU, MPU etc.">
  • Contribute to generation of Quality Plan.">
  • Manage sub-contractors.">
  • Be a member of CCB meetings."]],
