Job Overview

Singularity AMC seeks a highly skilled professional to oversee fund operations, ensuring seamless management of investments and distributions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in fund operations, private equity, fund administration, or asset management. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with fund accounting software are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Fund Administrators to maintain accurate books of accounts.
  • Perform Quarterly NAV Computations.
  • Lead statutory audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle SEBI and trustee compliances for AIFs.
  • Provide portfolio and fund information to stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage capital calls and distributions efficiently.
  • Calculate management fees and waterfall allocations accurately.
  • Wire investments while following due process.
  • Process vendor payments and bank account maintenance.
  • Ensure tax compliance for the fund.
  • Coordinate with Internal Auditors.
  • Implement robust systems and processes for effective fund operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in fund operations, private equity, fund administration, or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of PE fund structures, capital accounts, and waterfall mechanics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with fund accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront, Allvue) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
