  • This position plays a critical role in driving and delivering day-to-day fund expense/invoicing tasks.
  • The ideal candidate will adopt a "right first time" approach to ensure high-quality work.
  • Maintaining accurate Fund Expense data and associated matrices is essential for this role.
  • The successful candidate will act as a senior peer reviewer of work items and approver of payments processing.
  • A thorough scrutiny and reconciliation of service provider calculations are necessary to identify issues and errors.
  • This position manages relationships with key service providers and escalates and reports on issues as required.

Responsibilities:

  • The role involves reviewing and approving Fund Total Expense Ratio (TER) reporting within specified SLAs.
  • The Financial Operations Specialist creates Fund Budgets for new funds.
  • Calculating Fund Termination buffers is also a key responsibility.
  • This position prepares Quarterly TER movement report to the Fund Expense Committee (FEC).
  • The ideal candidate estimates Ongoing Charge calculations for new share classes.
  • This role performs quarterly max fee checks.
  • The Financial Operations Specialist communicates accrual updates to the Fund Administrator.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in the Funds/Asset Management Sector.
  • An understanding of the fund management industry is essential.
  • Candidates with an MBA, CFA, or FRM qualification are preferred.
