We're lean, fast-moving and committed to innovative solutions. We need a Full Stack Developer who lives and breathes JavaScript to help us deliver high-quality features for merchants.

The Challenge

Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex issues? Do you find satisfaction in refining messy codebases? We're looking for a JavaScript expert who can:

  • Debug and deliver full stack features using modern JS (ES6+, TypeScript, Node, Remix, React)
  • Maintain seamless frontend + backend integration without compromising performance
  • Identify performance bottlenecks before they impact users
  • Deliver fixes and improvements quickly — and ensure they remain stable

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using modern JavaScript technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to both frontend and backend architecture, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in architecture, code quality, and user experience.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance productivity or product quality.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) with a solid understanding of core programming principles.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Solid experience with React-based frameworks (e.g., Remix, Next.js, etc.).
  • Experience building and working with multi-tier architecture and distributed systems.
  • Backend experience with Node.js (or similar), RESTful APIs, and database interactions.
  • Working knowledge of database management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with UI libraries like Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Understanding of secure, scalable, and maintainable software development practices.

Bonus Points

  • Shopify experience is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and storefront customization.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, cloud platforms, or serverless architecture.

Contract Details & Career Path

  • Initial 1-3 month contract → clear performance goals → option to convert to full-time with equity upside
