Lead Data Insights Professional

We are seeking a skilled Lead Data Insights Professional to spearhead our data science team and drive business value from raw data.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the data science team, strategizing projects, and developing analytics models. The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset and expertise in statistical analysis.

The primary goal of this position is to enhance our AI services by leveraging clients' data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement suitable statistical methods, algorithms, and machine learning/deep learning models to create scalable solutions addressing business challenges across industries.
  • Create, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities.
  • Communicate findings to relevant teams through visualizations.
  • Collaborate and communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Provide solutions for various applications including object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation & targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, marketing mix optimization, and price optimization.
  • Ability to build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  • Follow/maintain an agile methodology for delivering on project milestones.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • 6+ years total experience with minimum 3 years of experience in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various types of business problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, C, C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Strong influence and relationship management skills.
