Sr Frontend Developer


Job Description:

As a seasoned Frontend Web Developer, you will be leading frontend development and driving technical leadership for our web application. This role demands expertise in modern web frameworks, strong UI/UX sensibility, and proven leadership.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning and evolving the frontend architecture of an existing product
  • Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable UI features
  • Collaborating with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and functional features
  • Contributing to full-stack development when needed, ensuring seamless integration across layers

Team Mentorship & Code Quality
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and guidance
  • Establishing and enforcing coding standards, modular design practices, and component reuse
  • Driving engineering excellence through design discussions, architecture reviews, and performance evaluations

Frontend Development & Integration
  • Developing responsive, maintainable UIs using React.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Working with modern state management libraries (Redux, Pinia, Vuex, Zustand, etc.)
  • Building and maintaining shared component libraries and internal design systems
  • Integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling authentication, routing, and dynamic content
  • Applying modular CSS techniques using SCSS, PostCSS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind

Performance, Accessibility, and Testing
  • Optimizing applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility
  • Implementing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
  • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across screen sizes

Requirements:
  • 6+ years in frontend development with experience in React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Proficient in component-based architecture, UI/UX best practices, and scalable CSS
  • Deep experience integrating frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Knowledge of routing, authentication flows, lazy loading, and code splitting
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including SOLID and DRY
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Full stack experience with Node.js, Express, or serverless backend environments
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Storybook) and implementing pixel-perfect UIs
  • Exposure to accessibility standards and performance audits
  • Experience working in startup or agile product development environments
