Job Opportunity: HR and Employee Relations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Human Resource and Employee Relations team. As an HR and Employee Relations Lead, your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance, support, and resolution to various workplace issues.

You will collaborate closely with HR teams, managers, and employees to address concerns, mitigate conflicts, and uphold organizational values. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, along with a deep understanding of labor laws and HR practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting employee engagement, addressing grievances, and implementing strategies to enhance workplace relations. You will also conduct investigations, facilitate disciplinary actions when necessary, and provide proactive HR support to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disputes through effective mediation and negotiation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance-related issues.
  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop training programs on ER related topics.
  • Maintain accurate records of ER cases, investigations, and outcomes.
  • Serves as a key contributor to development and maintenance of comprehensive Human Resources policies and strategies.
  • Manage the employee relations team to provide guidance to management on a full range of employee relations matters.
  • Keep abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to employee relations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
  • Ability to promote employee engagement and implement strategies to enhance workplace relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports and analysis for management review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Transformation mind-set, identifying process improvement opportunities, technology embedment and drive leaner and smarter ER processes.
  • Strong strategic stakeholder management and independent and persuasive personality.
