Job Description

At the heart of every successful organization lies a well-oiled operations machine. In our field, seamless execution is crucial for retaining and acquiring new clients.

We are seeking an Operational Manager who will support the team in ensuring timely compliance to rules on behalf of brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brand compliance with existing rules and regulations.
  • Standardize formats according to government, brand, or Recykal requirements.
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands.
  • Proactive follow-ups with key brands and stakeholders associated with Recykal.
  • Ensure compliance-related documentation accuracy.
  • Manage multiple teams on-field and off-field.
  • Increase team efficiency by building optimized processes.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives actively.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined scope.
  • Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a demanding environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling operations.
  • Past experience in waste management is beneficial.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with solid ability to persuade others and work in a team.
