Painting Supervisor Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Painting Supervisor to lead our painting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the paint shop and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of painters to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to complete projects successfully.
  • Schedule and assign work to painters based on project requirements and deadlines.
  • Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules, and priority of painting expenditures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Estimate material and labor costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of time, payroll, and materials to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Train or inform employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies to ensure that they are aware of best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the painting industry.
  • Degree in a related field such as painting or construction management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
