Job Title: UAV Systems Engineer

This is a key position in our UAV AI Division where you will be responsible for designing, integrating and testing UAV hardware and flight systems for defense and surveillance platforms.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Tune UAV flight performance by adjusting PID tuning and EKF parameters to achieve maximum stability and control.
  • Implement waypoint missions, geofencing, and failsafe behaviors to ensure secure and efficient UAV operations.
  • Integrate payloads such as EO/IR gimbals and Jetson companion computers to enhance UAV capabilities.
  • Support simulation-based development using AirSim/Gazebo SITL and transition to field testing to validate results.
  • Conduct bench tests, tethered flights, and live flight trials with safety protocols in place to ensure a smooth testing process.
  • Troubleshoot UAV avionics, power systems, and telemetry links to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed logs of flight tests, anomalies, and performance tuning to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
