Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data processing using Apache Spark, AWS, and cloud-based infrastructure. You will also have hands-on experience with Java, Python, Scala, and other programming languages.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data processing systems using Apache Spark and AWS
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data processing and analytics


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in big data processing and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, AWS, and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Scala
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git

  • AWS Certification (any level)
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployment
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science teams and building rapid technical prototypes
