Agivant is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling our data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will play a key role in building and maintaining robust ELT/ETL pipelines, managing data warehousing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ELT and ETL processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and pipelines.

- Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging Snowflake, Airflow, ElasticSearch, AWS S3, and NFS.

- Develop and maintain data warehouse schemas to support BI and advanced analytics.

- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation frameworks to ensure integrity.

- Partner with data scientists and analysts to make data accessible and usable for analytics, ML, and reporting.

- Contribute to the enhancement of data warehouse architecture and introduce best practices in scalability, security, and performance.

- Stay updated with industry best practices in CI/CD, DevSecOps, FinOps, and Agile/Scrum for continuous (Mandatory) :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on ELT/ETL processes.

- 3+ years hands-on experience in Snowflake (data warehousing, performance optimization, data modelling).

- 3+ years experience creating and maintaining Apache Airflow ETL pipelines.

- 3+ years of professional-level experience with Python for data manipulation, transformation, and automation.

- Experience with ElasticSearch and its integration in data pipelines.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling techniques.

- Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and cloud-based storage solutions.

- Experience working with NFS and other file storage systems.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with data quality frameworks and automated validation.

- Exposure to DevOps/FinOps practices for cost-optimized and secure data operations.

- Knowledge of modern data stack tools and real-time data Skills :

- Python - 3+ Years (Intermediate+)

- Snowflake - 3+ Years (Intermediate+)

- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) - 3+ Years (Intermediate+)

- Apache Airflow - 3+ Years (Intermediate+)

- ElasticSearch - 1+ Years (Beginner+)
