Lead Data Architect Role Overview

This is a leadership role for an experienced data professional to lead the development and implementation of data strategies that drive business growth, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and transform large datasets into well-structured data assets using SQL, AWS Glue, or other emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models that capture business performance from a customer experience perspective.
  • Identify and execute data quality testing along critical check points and surface data drift or data anomalies.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy and build automated processes to catch issues proactively.
  • Be an expert in critical customer experience data assets and maintain a catalog for reference.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or engineering.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries, Python (NumPy & Pandas), and EDA tools like AWS Glue, S3, or Redshift.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI for advanced visualization.
What Sets You Apart
  • Understanding of generative AI.
  • Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools like scikit-learn.
  • Prior experience with Delta or other airlines/hospitality data a plus.
