Senior Business Development Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our petrochemical vertical, focusing on oil rigs and exploration assets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business development initiatives, identify opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for the petrochemical sector.
  • Identify and pursue M&A opportunities through existing networks and relationships.
  • Build a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets by working closely with the leadership team.
  • Represent the company at international forums, staying up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Align expansion strategies with overall business goals, ensuring cohesive growth.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in petrochemicals/oil & gas.
  • Proven track record of deal-making, especially with international assets.
  • Deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, particularly rig operations.
  • Strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MBA or relevant technical qualification preferred.
