Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled industrial relations and human resources specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing employee relations at the plant through strategic interventions and effective employee engagement.

The objective is to foster a collaborative work environment, thereby maintaining positive employee relations. This position involves leading initiatives to ensure cordial industrial relations by actively engaging with employee unions and driving the negotiation and management of long-term settlements.

Responsibilities:

  2. Managing employee relations and ensuring effective communication between employees, management, and union representatives
  3. Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive employee engagement and minimize conflicts
  4. Negotiating and managing collective bargaining agreements with employee unions
  5. Overseeing the administration of disciplinary procedures and ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations
  6. Supervising contract labor operations and ensuring compliance with relevant statutes
  7. Designing and implementing HR and employee relations projects aligned with overall business strategies and objectives

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess an MBA or MSW with a specialization in industrial relations and human resources. A minimum of 14 years of experience in employee relations, including extensive experience in long-term settlements, is required. Strong knowledge of labor laws and conciliation procedures is essential.

In addition, the candidate should have advanced expertise in designing and implementing interventions to foster effective employee engagement, as well as full proficiency in Kannada language.
