Job Title

  • A senior data engineer is required to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient data processing workflows using PySpark for big data analytics.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the organization.
  • Implement data modeling and warehousing strategies to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and apply knowledge to improve existing processes and systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior data engineer or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines.
  • Proficient in PySpark for big data analytics and strong programming skills in Python.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Databricks for big data processing and collaboration.
  • Experience working with data storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, or Google Cloud Storage).
  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.
