This is a pivotal role that requires attention to detail and organizational skills, as you will be responsible for managing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Manage vendor invoices and process payments in a timely manner.
- Verify purchase orders and expense reports for accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
- Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor queries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by providing necessary documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Powerpoint, Word etc) with emphasis on Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines.
