Accounts Payable Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions and cash flow management.
The Process Specialist will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to improve billing operations and deliver excellent customer service externally. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing the end-to-end invoicing process, including the control of accurate and timely generation or verification of invoices and supporting documentation.
- Analyzing billing data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Investigating and resolving moderately complex billing discrepancies by analyzing billing data, communicating with internal cross-functional teams and external customers or suppliers, and making necessary corrections.
- Maintaining accuracy and completeness of billing records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to verify billing information and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer or supplier payments.
Key Accountabilities:
- INVOICING: Implements the end to end invoicing process.
- BILLING ANALYSIS: Analyzes billing data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvements.
- DISCREPANCY RESOLUTION: Investigates and resolves moderately complex billing discrepancies.
- DOCUMENTATION: Maintains accuracy and completeness of billing records.
- RECORDS MAINTENANCE: Maintains financial records related to accounts payable processes.
- COLLABORATION: Collaborates with cross functional teams to verify billing information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7 to 8 years of experience.
- Experience with email, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
