Job Description

We are seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Wintel environment.

This includes managing servers, virtualization platforms, and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage global infrastructure operations in partnership with service providers.
  • Lead 24x7 BAU activities, incident response, and escalations with hands-on technical depth.
  • Govern patch compliance, performance optimization, and infrastructure hardening.
  • Design, manage, and perform DR for applications inline with backup, storage, and application teams.
  • Lead technical execution of infrastructure projects, including OS upgrades, migrations, and platform transitions.

Project Management & Technical Delivery:

  • Architect and implement infrastructure solutions for new business requirements.
  • Drive initiatives for virtualization, automation, capacity planning, and legacy system upgrades.
  • Ensure proper documentation and technical sign-off for infrastructure change implementations.

Governance, Compliance & Audit:

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, GxP, and InfoSec policies.
  • Conduct periodic review of EOL/EOS platforms and define decommission strategies.

People & Stakeholder Management:

  • Mentor and develop L2/L3 team members and assess skill readiness.
  • Collaborate with application, security, and compliance teams for cross-functional initiatives.

Vendor & Partner Management:

  • Govern SLAs, KPIs, and deliverables of infrastructure service partners.

Financials, Inventory & Risk:

  • Govern asset lifecycle and Wintel server license compliance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CMDB and ensure accuracy for DR/BCP planning.

Innovation & Strategic Planning:

  • Identify infrastructure gaps and propose innovative solutions including automation.
