Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Tax Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on tax matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle assessment proceedings and liaise with tax authorities to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
  • Draft rectification applications and execute them promptly to minimize delays.
  • Prepare and submit appeals for various appellate levels up to the Tribunal, ensuring a strong and compelling case.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, preparing detailed submissions that meet the highest standards.
  • Respond to tax authorities regarding penalty notices, stay of demand, demand adjustments, and appeal effect applications, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to obtain lower withholding tax certificates, streamlining the process and improving efficiency.
  • Manage corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and file them on time.
  • Independently oversee TDS return filings, maintaining high quality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and submit advance tax computations based on financial estimates, providing reliable projections.
  • Provide guidance on international tax matters, including interpretation of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs), fostering global understanding and cooperation.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Enhance communication and collaboration with regional finance managers, promoting seamless integration.
  • Make significant contributions to strategic and annual financial planning, driving business growth and success.
  • Support forecasting and re-estimates, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth company performance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
