Sustainability Specialists play a pivotal role in driving eco-conscious initiatives and promoting environmental responsibility within global operations. The Role:

  • Design and implement comprehensive sustainability programs, ensuring alignment with global environmental standards and supporting long-term environmental goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance, reduce environmental impact, and drive innovation in sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sustainability initiatives, identifying key impact areas, setting measurable targets, and ensuring alignment with global ESG frameworks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations, supporting environmental audits, maintaining documentation, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and sustainability workshops to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance sustainability performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences.
