Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Workday Functional Consultant to play a pivotal role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions. This position offers an exceptional foundation for growth in Product Management, functional consulting, and/or business operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Business Analyst (BA) skills combined with Workday functional expertise. They should be able to comprehend complex business processes, translate them into effective Workday configurations, and communicate seamlessly with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Management to understand requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configurations, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Provide leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices for the offshore team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants as the offshore team grows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
