Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can design and implement scalable backend systems.
This role involves working closely with senior engineers to develop core services in Golang, integrate with Kafka for event-driven workflows, and build robust REST APIs powering our applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Golang.
- Implement high-performance and reliable REST APIs.
- Work with Kafka to build and consume event-driven systems.
- Contribute to database design and query optimization in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, learning from peers while improving overall code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA, DevOps).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience building backend services.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Golang; Python is a plus).
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
