Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable data pipelines and implement robust quality checks, monitoring systems, and data lineage tracking to ensure business continuity.
  • Design and execute complex queries, data manipulation languages, and advanced quantitative analysis to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate data needs into actionable technical designs and lead cross-functional teams in technical design reviews.
  • Create insightful dashboards and reports, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and data-driven recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Drive the Data Governance charter, defining policies and ensuring compliance, while mentoring junior engineers on technical guidance, code reviews, and development support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, database querying (e.g., SQL), data visualization, scripting, and system design.
  • Proven track record in leading projects, defining data governance policies, procedures, and standards, as well as data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), data warehousing solutions, data quality tools, and metadata management systems.
  • Expertise in data analysis at scale, including statistics and machine learning model development.
  • Collaborative coding and version control experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Familiarity with data center technology or supply chain.
