Job Title: Advanced Financial Specialist

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert financial support to the organization, ensuring efficient and effective business operations.

This position requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive budget models for various departments and the entire organization.
  • Prepare and manage budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the financial planning and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely analysis.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Submit high-quality financial reports, including quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reports, to senior management.
  • Present annual budgets and financial plans to stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including balance sheet, COGS/COGM report, yield report, and D&A report.
  • Audit Compliance:
  • Ensure timely completion of audits as per schedule.
  • Collaborate with auditors and facilitate the audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Report on internal financial controls, enhancing fraud risk management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Expense Reporting:
  • Implement an efficient expense reporting system, including Power & Fuel, Repair & Maintenance Expenses, and C&C Expenses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification: CA (1st or 2nd attempt) / MBA Finance
  • Experience:
    • 2-6 years of overall experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG setup
    • At least 1 year of experience in MIS preparation with a manufacturing unit
    • Budgeting, budgetary control, budget preparation, management action, and cost control
    • Master budget, price and quantity variance, responsibility centers, zero-based budgeting
    • Advanced proficiency in SAP
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Desired Skills:
    • Analytics and business reporting
    • Financial acumen, understanding business performance and budgets
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
