Telecom Network Security Auditor

  • Auditing telecom network elements to identify and evaluate security risks associated with operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits of telecom networks, including assessments of network security controls, risk management processes, and incident response procedures.
  • Apply technical expertise in telecommunications and cybersecurity to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential attack vectors.
  • Utilize analytical skills to extract, process, and transform data effectively, and proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations, and prepare clear, concise reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting telecom network security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, information assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field, preferably in internal audit, consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or industry.
  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively (90%) and work in other locations is essential.
