Firmware engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced firmware engineer to join our team. As a key member of our WLAN firmware group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, bug fixing and maintaining WLAN firmware components that implement functional aspects of WLAN features on low memory footprint processors.

The host driver and the firmware will work in tandem with device drivers running on the host processors. You will be working on cutting edge WiFi technologies, solving challenging WiFi design & performance issues, and collaborating with leading WiFi ODMs & OEMs across the globe on their sometimes-high pressure & tough timelines.

You will manage a team to cater to development and sustenance requirements for the WLAN projects. Your expertise in C/C++ language, knowledge in developing drivers, embedded systems, data structure and firmware will be essential in this role.

A strong background in WLAN protocols (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) is also required. You must have good knowledge of OS theory and system architecture.

In addition, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. A BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or in Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program.

  • Knowledge in developing drivers, embedded systems, data structure and firmware
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in WLAN protocols (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
  • Good knowledge of OS theory and system architecture
