Job DescriptionLife Cycle Assessments and Carbon Footprint Specialist

As a Life Cycle Assessments and Carbon Footprint Specialist at RC Project Consultancy (RCPC), you will play a crucial role in helping our clients understand and reduce their environmental impact. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) and develop carbon footprint claims for various projects and products.

You will work closely with our team of experts to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable practices. Your expertise will be essential in providing insights and recommendations to our clients, enabling them to make informed decisions about their environmental sustainability initiatives.

This role requires a strong understanding of LCA methods, data analysis, and interpretation. You will be responsible for gathering and compiling data, conducting studies, and formulating performance plans to achieve short- and long-term sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct LCAs and develop carbon footprint claims for projects and products
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • Gather and compile data, conduct studies, and formulate performance plans to achieve sustainability goals
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to clients
  • Develop decarbonization and carbon emission reduction strategies for projects and clients' organizations
  • Perform GHG emission calculations for Scope 1, 2, and 3
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, while a master's degree is preferred.

You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. RC Project Consultancy (RCPC) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
