Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to spearhead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of robust cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Linux systems, virtualization platforms, cloud orchestration technologies, and infrastructure automation.

This role involves end-to-end deployment, configuration, and upkeep of scalable and secure infrastructure using tools like OpenStack, Apache CloudStack, or other orchestration platforms.

The successful candidate will also bring proficiency in scripting and automation skills to streamline cloud deployments and infrastructure operations.

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems on physical and virtual platforms.
  • Install and manage hypervisors including KVM, VMware ESXi, and XenServer.
  • Lead and implement private and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.
  • Use Ansible and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
  • Implement monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with physical infrastructure teams to set up and troubleshoot hardware, storage systems, and network configurations.
  • Document architecture designs, implementation plans, SOPs, and deployment workflows.

Strong command over Linux system administration, experience with virtualization platforms, and hands-on experience in deploying cloud orchestration platforms are essential requirements.

A deep understanding of automation tools, knowledge of monitoring tools, and familiarity with hardware components are preferred qualifications.
