We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Expert to manage, monitor and support our Google Cloud Platform environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security and reliability of GCP services.

The Cloud Operations Expert will administer and support GCP infrastructure services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub and more.

  • Administer and support GCP infrastructure services.
  • Monitor system health, performance and availability using GCP monitoring tools.
  • Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.
  • Perform incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for GCP services.
  • Deploy, configure and manage networking within GCP.
  • Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.
  • Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions on GCP.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.
Required Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
