About the Role

Fulcrum Digital is an agile and next-generation digital accelerating company providing digital transformation and technology services right from ideation to implementation. These services have applicability across a variety of industries including banking & financial services, insurance, retail, higher education, food, healthcare, and manufacturing.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to oversee the end-to-end bid process from strategy development to submission with a focus on collaboration, quality, and meeting client requirements. The successful candidate will have a combination of project management, strategic planning, and communication skills to increase the organization's chances of winning competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare proposals/SOW in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Assist in the development of presentations and respond to any requests for information from the company's sales team.
  • Work closely with representatives from several departments including sales, technical, and the contract department.
  • Develop good working relationships with people in other departments.
  • Run the team as a performance-driven organization.
  • Track proposals and performance KPIs for the group, write proposals, and other documentation, ensuring that proposals in progress comply with guidelines set by Global Sales Enablement.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of all work documents, maintain proposal formatting, develop sales presentations, and gather critical information for various personnel.
  • Drive proposal strategy meetings and conclude any differences.
  • Work closely with the sales team to set opportunity priorities and deadlines.
  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing target dates for information gathering, review, and approval.
  • Maintain quality results by using templates, follow proposal writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Drive continuous improvement in proposal writing by evaluating and redesigning processes, approaches, coordination, and boilerplate, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Achieve organizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and exploring opportunities to enhance job accomplishments and add value.
  • Lead storyboard sessions with members of the bid/proposal team to facilitate effective communication and collaboration in the development process.
  • Present all new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for review and potential incorporation into the knowledge base for future reuse.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and workflow/brain mapping applications.
  • Translate complex concepts into layperson narrative.
  • Research and collect data to fully define RFP requirements.
