Job Title: VDI Team Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) professional to join our team as a VDI Team Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtual desktop environments that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Virtual Desktop Management: Design, implement, and manage virtual desktop environments using Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and other relevant technologies.
  • Infrastructure Administration: Administer and maintain Microsoft server/desktop infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, RDS, and SQL.
  • Cloud Services: Work with cloud services such as Azure and Office 365 to ensure seamless integration and deployment of virtual desktop environments.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain complex IT documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of overall virtual desktop experience, with extensive Microsoft server/desktop administration and Active Directory in multi-domain forest environment.
  • Skills: Expertise in Windows 10 operating environment, imaging process, and Office 365; working knowledge of Azure administration and software package creation, deployment, patch management, data, and cost analytics.
Desired Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Certifications: Azure, Citrix, VMware, or relevant VDI certifications.
  • Vendor Experience: Experience working with multiple vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware Horizon.
  • Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with on-Prem Active directory, Microsoft Intune, and Azure AD, and infrastructure-as-code deployment with automation.
