Market Access Strategist Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Market Access Strategist to lead market access activities ensuring optimal pricing reimbursement and patient access for pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies to ensure maximum product availability for patients.
  • Conduct thorough market research and health economics analysis to identify barriers to market access, price trends, and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to develop evidence supporting product value.
  • Establish relationships with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to negotiate favorable reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions.
  • Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions to optimize product approval and reimbursement.
  • Stay up-to-date on policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to adapt market access strategies proactively.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing, Reimbursement, or a related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, pricing pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian healthcare policies, regulations, and market trends. They must be able to analyze complex data, interpret results, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
