Job Opportunity: Order Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Order Management Specialist. This exciting role involves managing accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections, maintaining accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues impacting collections.

About the Position:

  • This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance and accounting to develop their skills and expertise in order management.
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • They will also have a solid understanding of ERP systems and be proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and manage accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections.
  2. Contact customers via email/phone to follow up on overdue invoices.
  3. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., billing, cash application, sales) to resolve issues impacting collections.
  5. Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions.
  6. Prepare ageing reports and provide regular updates to management.
  7. Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to AR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in OTC collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong understanding of the OTC process and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
