Join our team as a Cost Accountant and play a pivotal role in establishing robust financial frameworks for the organization. This foundational finance position supports leadership in strategic decision-making, profitability analysis, and business growth.

  • Develop and maintain cost sheets to provide accurate job-wise and vertical-wise costing information.
  • Track material, labor, transport, and overhead costs per project to optimize resource allocation.
  • Allocate shared costs across business verticals to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Create standard cost templates and monitor budget vs. actual performance to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to validate cost data and ensure accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of ERP systems for enhanced costing modules and improved financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports for senior leadership to facilitate informed business decisions.

Qualifications

  • A certification in Cost & Management Accounting (CMA) is highly desirable.
  • At least 3–6 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in infra, construction, or rentals.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Tally Prime, is an added advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience working in project-based or rental-driven businesses.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to create effective cost reports.
  • Understanding of logistics, inventory management, and shared cost allocation.
  • Hands-on approach with a systems-building mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Proactive margin tracking and loss prevention strategies.
  • Systemized reporting aligned with ERP structure.
  • Clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
