Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled web developer to design, develop and maintain responsive user-friendly websites. The role involves customizing themes, optimizing performance and integrating third-party apps while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and REST APIs. Experience in Shopify (Liquid, app integrations, Shopify Plus) and WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain websites using Shopify and WordPress
  • Customize themes, templates and plugins to meet business requirements
  • Build and optimize eCommerce functionality (WooCommerce, payment gateways, third-party integrations)
  • Ensure responsive, pixel-perfect and SEO-friendly websites with strong performance
  • Debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in web development with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and REST APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify (Liquid, app integrations, Shopify Plus) and WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development)
  • Experience in WooCommerce and eCommerce optimization (speed, SEO, mobilefirst)
  • Hands-on debugging, testing and problem-solving skills
