Software Quality Assurance Role

As a Software Test Engineer – Internship, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of software products.

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases to guarantee software functionality and performance.
  • Develop expertise in API testing to validate backend services and integration points.
  • Work with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber to streamline testing processes.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and contribute to overall product quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans and reports.
Key Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript; hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber; understanding of fundamental testing principles and SDLC processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and grow in software quality assurance.
