As a highly skilled Baker, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Bakery Shop and production daily.

  • ">
  • Ensure all bakery items are produced to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations and company policies.">
  • Responsible for the production, presentation, and quality control of bread assortment.">
  • Assist in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers to minimize waste and optimize food costs.">
  • Assist in setting up the bread display in various buffets, ensuring an attractive and inviting appearance.">
  • Maintain complete knowledge of United States Public Health rules and regulations, adhering to them at all times.">
  • Clean the bakery shop according to the Executive Chef's schedule, using proper methods to prevent equipment damage.">
  • Prepare the bakery for USPH inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.">
  • Requisition and transport necessary items from main stores to the bakery shop as assigned.">
  • Ensure recipes and yields meet company standards.">
  • Assist the CDP Baker with the completion of the daily consumption report as required by the Executive Chef.">
  • Provide exceptional service to guests and crew members, addressing inquiries and concerns.">
  • Attend meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.">
  • Perform related duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the Bakery Shop.">

Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Baker who possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • ">
  • A minimum of three years' experience as a Baker in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.">
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.">
  • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.">

Internal candidates must have completed at least two contracts as a Baker with a satisfactory performance rating.
