Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud deployment platforms, specifically GCP, and hands-on experience with GCP services (GKE, Compute Engine).

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud adoption and drive strategic initiatives.

In this role, the candidate will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and leveraging their expertise to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud deployment platforms, specifically GCP
  • Expertise in GCP services, including GKE and Compute Engine
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, and .Net
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools, such as ELK and Stack driver
  • Experience with configuration management tools, like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef
  • Background in deployment and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesos
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills
  • A strong service attitude and commitment to quality
  • 5-12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and operations domains, preferably in a global enterprise environment
