Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our software engineering team.

This position involves designing and implementing automation workflows using VMware Aria Suite products, VMware PowerCLI, PowerShell, or other tools.

  • Design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of vCenter, ESX hosts, virtual machines, clusters, and other VMware resources.
  • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack for VMware environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate automation workflows into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support DevOps processes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing systems.
  • Utilize version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD systems, like Jenkins or GitlabCI.
  • Implement monitoring solutions for virtualized environments using tools like VMware Aria Operations, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Able to configure alerts and dashboards for proactive system monitoring.

  • Generate regular reports on system reliability, performance, and automation effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on VMware automation best practices.
