Job Overview

As a Senior Architect, your role is to design and implement big data-based data governance solutions. This involves technical management across the full life cycle of data, from requirement gathering and analysis to platform selection, architecture design, and deployment.

  • Leading the development of data solutions through collaboration with business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers.
  • Exploring new technologies for creative problem-solving and driving net new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical leadership and hands-on contribution to data governance projects, including requirements gathering, analysis, and solution implementation.
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based data governance infrastructure, as well as custom configurations.
  • Mentoring a team of data governance engineers to ensure the success of data governance initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of overall technical experience, with expertise in Python/GenAI (a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance tool Solutions/implementations (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Purview, Unity Catalog, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Data Governance Solutions, with a good understanding of:
    • Data Catalog.
    • Business Glossary.
    • Business metadata, technical metadata, operational Metadata.
    • Data Quality (IDQ/Anomalo/iceDQ/custom DQ APIs).
    • Data Profiling.
    • Data Lineage.
    • Automation on any of the above.
  • Expertise And Qualification:
    • Hands-on experience with technologies like Monte Carlo, Anomalo, Atlan, Collibra, Alation, IDQ, IDMC (CDQ & CDGC), Ataccama, Immuta, Unity Catalog, Securiti.ai.
    • Awareness of working on Azure/GCP/AWS environment(s).
    • Relevant Azure AWS/GCP components required to build data solutions.
    • Familiarity with designing/building large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions (in Azure/AWS/GCP).
    • Data Quality, Governance, metadata management (incl. catalog and lineage) design and implementation.
    • Full life cycle of a data governance solution.
    • Installation and admin of tools mentioned above (a Plus).
    • Experience in building monitoring, dashboards debugging, and performance tuning.
