Quality Assurance Specialist

A partnership between two pioneering organizations is set to revolutionize the satellite production landscape in India. This groundbreaking initiative brings together expertise from across the industry to create a cutting-edge facility for small satellites.

As a Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems.

The scope of this position involves overseeing quality processes across design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases of spacecraft and subsystems such as avionics, power and control systems, and payloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards. Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded. Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products. Monitor and verify compliance with acceptance test procedures, product specifications, and drawings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with satellite subsystems, such as reaction wheels, batteries, EPS, and CDH.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.

Additional Information:

Experience with satellite assembly and integration QA/QC is desirable. Certification or knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is an asset.
