Embedded Audio Software Engineer

We are seeking an expert Embedded Audio Software Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge audio features that work seamlessly across various embedded products.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with customers, system architects, program managers, and hardware engineers to design, implement, and troubleshoot kernel drivers, audio software, and BSP for our next-generation devices.

  • Develop DSP firmware and embedded Linux software that implements audio features.
  • Design audio features that work across various embedded products.
  • Develop audio software that runs on ARM/DSP using Bare metal, Linux, and other high-level OSes.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Owning the development of audio software from concept to delivery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Optimizing and porting audio and speech processing algorithms for optimal performance.
  • Integrating vendor hardware and software stacks to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Tuning hardware for highest audio performance and lowest noise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Linux kernel and application development, and focus on stability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Knowledge of Android platform and development environment.
Preferred Qualifications

If you have:

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
