Senior Financial Operations Specialist

As a key member of our operations department, this role plays a crucial role in supporting the financial success of multi-unit franchise clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial tasks for multiple locations, ensuring timely period closes and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, as well as third-party delivery or marketplace deposits, including fees and chargebacks.
  • Integrate and reconcile data from various point-of-sale systems, such as Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed, Revel, and Shopify POS.
  • Prepare payroll inputs and reconcile payroll journals, coordinating with providers like ADP, Gusto, and Paychex.
  • Track labor percentages by location and department, and accrue payroll taxes and benefits as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in SMB or franchise financial operations, preferably with multi-unit exposure.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (classes/locations, bank rules, recurring journals) and Xero.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one point-of-sale system listed above and marketplace/aggregator reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP basics, sales tax, payroll journal entries, and multi-state nuances.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling.
