**Job Title:** Construction Cost Estimator

We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately predicting and preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify project requirements.
  • Determine the quantities of materials, equipment, labor, and other resources necessary for project cost estimation.
  • Familiarize oneself with applicable international codes and standards.
  • Ensure cost estimates align with standards to maintain compliance and quality.
  • Use measurement methods to accurately assess quantities.
  • Proficiency in working with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and related software is required.
  • Familiarity with cost estimation software(e.g., CostX) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute.
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
