Insider Threat Investigator

Description:

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our Cyber Security team, providing trusted expertise across our business. This role involves investigating Insider Risk Management cases escalated by our L1 team.

The successful candidate will perform advanced analysis and investigation of Insider Threat cases across various egress channels in on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Advanced analysis and investigation of Insider Threat cases.
  • Analyzing event/case/alert patterns using available tools to interpret and prioritise threats.
  • Helping identify trends and drive requirements to improve existing IRM detection policies.
  • Collaborating with Cyber Defence teams, Legal, Privacy, and HR teams during investigations and incidents.
  • Preparing detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and mitigation efforts.

This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and investigative skills to identify complex security issues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
  • In-depth experience in L2 IRM/DLP or Insider Threat Analyst roles in a global enterprise organisation.
  • Relevant Microsoft Qualifications for Purview IRM, Defender, and DLP.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of Purview IRM, Defender, and DLP.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills to identify complex security issues.
  • Ability to identify trends and patterns in data usage behaviour.
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills.
