Eye Care Professional

Our organization seeks a skilled Eye Care Professional to oversee the operation of our Vision Center. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the center and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking patient history, including systemic and ocular information, to provide comprehensive care and make informed decisions about treatment plans.
  • Conducting thorough vision tests, including refraction and prescribing glasses under the supervision of a consultant, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
  • Performing biometry and other ophthalmic investigations, such as OCT, FFA, Fundus Photo, and LASER, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Assisting in LASIK operations, premium IOL/LASIK workups, and training optometry students to enhance skills and knowledge within the field.
  • Counseling patients, conducting follow-ups, and participating in camp screenings to promote health and wellness.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data entry in the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and management.
  • Able to independently manage Vision Center operations with flexibility to work across different locations.
