Job Title: Okta Cloud Architect

Description: We are seeking a seasoned Okta expert to join our growing Identity and Access Management team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing Okta-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects.
  • Design, configure, and implement Okta features including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API access management.
  • Integrate Okta with various applications (cloud and on-prem) using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to define access control strategies and identity workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning.
  • Conduct health checks, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of Okta environments.
  • Develop documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and runbooks.
  • Stay current with industry trends and Okta product developments to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements: 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud. Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security. Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation.

Nice to Have: Experience with adjacent IAM tools like SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk. Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and customization.
